Oceaneering Wins $300 Million of Subsea Robotics Contracts During Third Quarter of 2022

Oceaneering International, Inc. announces that its Subsea Robotics segment won multiple contracts during the third quarter of 2022, with anticipated aggregate revenue of $300 million. These contracts are primarily for remotely operated vehicle (ROV) services delivered from floating drilling rigs and vessels for subsea equipment support, subsea intervention and construction. Also included among the contracted work scopes are ROV tooling, survey, positioning and autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) services.

Kraken Receives $1.1 Million Follow On Battery Order from AUV Manufacturer

Kraken Robotics Inc., Canada’s Ocean Company, is pleased to announce an order for subsea batteries from a manufacturer of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs). The order is valued at $1.1 million and is a follow on from a $4.8 million order from the same customer earlier this year. For confidentiality reasons, we cannot disclose the customer’s name. Delivery is expected in Q4.

Nauticus Robotics Announces Additional Contract Award with U.S. Defense Innovation Unit for an Autonomous Amphibious Robot

Nauticus Robotics, a developer of autonomous ocean robots and associated services, announced today that it has been awarded a second multi-million dollar contract by the U.S. Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) for the development of an amphibious unmanned system also utilizing the Company’s autonomous command and control software platform, ToolKITT. This development follows Nauticus’ previous DIU award announcement on February 15, 2022, where ToolKITT is being utilized aboard the U.S. Navy’s Defender Mission Specialist remotely operated vehicle systems to advance the subsea vehicle with more autonomous behaviors. DIU is a Department of Defense organization that contracts with commercial companies to solve national security problems.

Nauticus Robotics, Inc., formerly known as CleanTech Acquisition Corp. (NASDAQ: CLAQ), today announced the successful closing of its business combination on September 9, 2022 with Nauticus Robotics, Inc. (“Nauticus”), a developer of ocean robots, autonomy software, and services to the marine industries. Nauticus’ mission is to become the most impactful ocean robotics company through the deployment of autonomous maritime systems. The resulting combined company will operate under the name Nauticus Robotics, Inc. and will be led by Nauticus Founder and CEO Nicolaus Radford and the current executive team. The combined company’s common stock and public warrants will trade on NASDAQ under the symbols “KITT” and “KITTW,” respectively, effective September 13, 2022.

Cellula Robotics Ltd. has successfully completed the mid-life maintenance and upgrade to Fukada Salvage and Marine Works Co., Ltd. (Fukada)’s Unicorn-1 Seafloor Drill, based on Cellula’s CRD100 Seafloor Drill. The upgrades, including improvements for increased automation and a new user interface, incorporates many lessons learnt from the last six years of offshore work, resulting in greater operational efficiency, functionality and lifespan of the drill.
