Silicon Sensing Releases New High-performance, Closed-loop Accelerometer - Zenith®

# Silicon Sensing latest accelerometer, Zenith®, has been released to the marine market

Zenith (CAS150/170) is a closed-loop, single-axis micro electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) accelerometer designed for critical marine applications. It combines exceptional low-noise performance with low SWaP-C, delivering sustained, precise linear-acceleration measurement for many applications—including long-endurance or fast-changing operations in the harshest surface and sub-surface environments.

Zenith combines extremely low noise spectral density for superior signal clarity, with a robust ±14g dynamic range, enabling accurate data capture in demanding conditions. Surface-mountable for straightforward integration, it is available in in-plane (CAS150) and orthogonal (CAS170) sensing configurations, allowing engineers to achieve multi-axis measurement on a single printed circuit board assembly (PCBA). This optimises the use of space without compromising on reliability.
