Havfram Announces New African EPRD Award from PETRONAS in Mauritania

Havfram announced today that PC Mauritania 1 Pty. Ltd. a wholly owned subsidiary of PETRONAS has awarded Havfram a contract for the provision of Engineering, Procurement, Retrieval and Disposal (EPRD) Services for the Abandonment and Decommissioning of Subsea Facilities at Chinguetti and Banda Fields, offshore Mauritania, in March 2022. PETRONAS is a global energy and solutions partner and ranked amongst the largest corporations in Fortune Global 500®.

Maersk Drilling Secures One-well Ultra-deepwater Exploration Contract in Gabon

Maersk Drilling has been awarded a one-well contract from PC Gabon Upstream S.A. (PCGUSA), a subsidiary of PETRONAS, for the provision of a deepwater drillship rig. The 7th generation drillship Maersk Viking will be employed to drill an ultra-deepwater exploration well at approximately 2,100 m water depth in Block F13 offshore Gabon. Maersk Drilling Awarded One-well Exploration Contract by PETRONAS

Maersk Drilling has secured a contract for the semi-submersible rig Mærsk Developer which will be employed by PETRONAS Suriname Exploration & Production B.V. for a one-well exploration campaign in Block 52 offshore Suriname. The contract is expected to commence in Q3/Q4 2020, with an estimated duration of 75 days. The value of the firm contract is approximately USD 20.4m, including integrated drilling services, mobilisation and demobilisation fees. The contract includes an additional one-well option.

Technip wins flexible pipe contract in offshore East Malaysia

- Leveraging its unique subsea integrated approach - Technip has been awarded an engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning contract by PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd (PCSB) for D18 Project. The project covers the procurement and installation of two 8” water injection flexible pipes totalling 9.5 kilometers. The flexible pipes will connect three fixed jacket platforms which form the existing D18 infrastructure offshore Sarawak, Malaysia, at a water depth of 36 meters. This contract is part of the 5-year Framework Agreement signed with PETRONAS in late 2014 and is in line with Technip strategy to strengthen its partnerships with its clients to drive cost optimization.
