Contract Award for MPSV Siem Dorado

Siem Offshore has been awarded a 40 days firm contract plus options, in addition to mobilization and demobilization fees, for the MPSV "Siem Dorado" for work in the North Sea. The contract is the first contract the company has secured with DCN Diving, and we very much are looking forward to cooperate with a new client within the air-diving segment of the industry. The vessel has commenced its mobilization from Norway.

MENCK to Partner with Van Oord on the Installation of Italy’s First Offshore Wind Farm

MENCK, the lead brand for the foundations and cables business segment within marine energy and infrastructure services company Acteon, has signed a contract with Dutch marine contractor Van Oord to deliver the hammer spread for the installation of the Taranto offshore wind farm, Italy’s first. The installation of 10 monopiles, each supporting a 3-MW turbine, will begin in Q3 2021 using the MPI Resolution and is expected to take 16 days. MENCK will supply one MHU 800S hydraulic hammer spread, including service technicians.

Kraken Receives Order for Pressure Tolerant Batteries from Dive Technologies

Kraken Robotics Inc., Canada’s Ocean Company, is pleased to announce that it has received another order for its 6000-meter SeaPower® pressure tolerant batteries from Dive Technologies Inc., of Quincy, Massachusetts. Dive’s Large Displacement Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (DIVE-LD) are powered by Kraken’s pressure tolerant batteries. The value of the order is $0.6 million. The batteries are expected to be delivered in Q3 and will be integrated into the third DIVE-LD production hull.

Development Grant Awarded to Autonomous Robotics Ltd
