Following the installation and commissioning of their new extrusion line, Hydro Group has invested further in the cable manufacturing arm of the business, with the procurement of a new 48 carrier horizontal braider. This is the final phase of a circa £1 million investment programme which has seen major facility improvements to align with the company’s current project commitments.

Hydro Group are pleased to announce the successful delivery of equipment to Forum Energy Technologies to support the delivery of their latest Submarine Rescue Vessel. The SRV was completed in November 2020 for a foreign navy in the Asia-Pacific region and was built to the latest Lloyds design codes to facilitate full class certification.
