The contract is the first result of a strategic partnership with a Brazilian offshore company.

iXblue is excited to announce the award of two significant hydrographic charting projects this month. The projects were awarded by the Australian Government Department of Defence and Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) under their respective annual survey and charting programs. Despite the challenges posed by the COVID19 pandemic this year, iXblue will be exercising new in-house capabilities to undertake both major projects simultaneously.

Contract 1

IKM Subsea Singapore has started 2018 well with a double contract award. The first is a contract to provide 2 x ROVS for a FNLG Mooring Installation in Bangladesh. IKM Subsea provided 1 x Merlin WR200 and a Comanche with the necessary toolings onboard the vessel Jumbo Javelin. IKM was chosen due to previous experience with the client, Jumbo Offshore and the ability to perform in strong weather conditions in Bangladesh. With the Merlin WR200, the operating weather window is extended to help and execute the project.

OEG Offshore (OEG) – which specialises in the design, build and rental of specialist A60 cabins and cargo-carrying units for the offshore oil and gas market, has delivered several high value ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicles) module contracts worth £1.8 million GBP ($2.5 million USD) for TechnipFMC, Saipem and other leading subsea contractors.

In the UAE, Proserv will be engineering and manufacturing wellhead control panels, hydraulic power units (HPUs) and chemical injection systems to national oil companies, service companies and engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) companies, estimated to be worth around $10m. Key to the awards is the strong installation, commissioning and life of field service offering that is unique to Proserv in the region
