Bibby HydroMap are the first in the UK to adopt QPS Qimera

Bibby HydroMap are pleased to announce that they are the first survey company to integrate the new bathymetry processing application from QPS, Qimera, into their Management System.

Bibby HydroMap used the beta and pre-release testing periods to not only test and ensure that Qimera was operating the way they wanted, but also to update their procedures so that they were ready to implement the software on its launch.

Working with a range of clients from industries including oil and gas, offshore renewables and subsea cables, Bibby HydroMap specialises in high-resolution hydrographic and geophysical survey, geotechnical sampling and ROV inspection.

The increasing scale of the projects the company is involved with has led to a significant growth in the volumes of data handled in their head office, Bromborough, Wirral. Using Qimera, Bibby HydroMap will optimise efficiency and accuracy in data processing, which will enhance the service they offer to clients. As a long-term QPS customer, the company is delighted to be among the first globally to adopt the new Qimera system.
